In the area of Pennsylvania, there is this government department to help and assist the society in manpower and employment field named Department of Labor and Industry. Back to 3 years ago, some when in the year of 2008, the local Governor Edward G. Rendell appointed a woman to fill one position of acting secretary and that woman is named Sandi Vito. For some of us, her name is very familiar due to her contribution and participation to the state’s growth level in both economic and politic field.
As the acting secretary, Vito plays a great role as the head in charge of the fifth largest agency in the Pennsylvania state. In her routines, Vito oversees about 6,000 employees from 200 different business offices. Her main perspective is to keep these labors to work in a proper condition as well as to get a better chance to improve their life quality. Therefore, through some administration programs, Vito encourages these workers to get involved for worker’s compensation program, unemployment compensation program, retraining program and many other more. Up to now the program itself has affected lives from millions workers spread all over the state in a positive way, giving them their own chances to live and grow under their career.
